Itinerary

Day 1: Rome – Sorrento

Stop At: Feludei, Via Dei Mulini 19, 84017, Positano Italy
We head over to Positano, to the gemologist, Federico Dinelli and his wife Margherita’s shop, Feludei. They bring to Positano the best of the Italian jewelry tradition. If you get overwhelmed by the choices, don’t hesitate to ask! If jewelry is not your thing, feel free to look around in the shops near by.

Stop At: Fornillo, 84017, Positano Italy
Fornillo’s coastline has often been described as one of the most beautiful of the Mediterranean. It is also the second largest beach of Positano not far from the center. Spend the day relaxing here, sunbathe, swim, have drinks overlooking the crystal clear waters. Don’t forget to bring a beach towel to avoid renting expensive sun beds.

Stop At: Piazza Tasso, 80067, Sorrento Italy
We will had back to Sorrento by bus, to Piazza Tasso, its main square. Enjoy a gelato, go shopping for leather goods, or just a nice stroll.

Stop At: Villa di Pollio Felice, Traversa Punta Campo, 80067, Sorrento Italy
Walk along Via Punta Capo down to the sea, past the church of San Rosario. You will see a natural triangular pool with an archway of rock over it which is known as il Bagno della Regina Giovanna (Queen Joan’s bath). Enjoy a lovely swim here, and then we will go over to the ruins of a large Roman villa on the tip of Punta del Capo.

Day 2: A day in Capri

Stop At: Island of Capri, Island of Capri, Province of Naples, Campania
Hop on a traditional wooden boat in Sorrento and set sail in the Gulf of Naples to the island of Capri. On the ride there, indulge in some snacks, such as sandwiches and beverages (included in the price). Then, take a short break at Marciano or Mitigliano to jump off of the boat to go swimming or snorkeling (snorkeling equipment provided). Once on the island, we will explore Capri with Dolan’s guide, and come back to the port to go back to Sorrento when we are done.

Day 3: Sorrento – Amalfi – Ravello – Napoli

Stop At: Museo della Carta, Via delle Cartiere 23, 84011, Amalfi Italy
In the museum of paper, there will be demonstrations of the paper-making process and the history surrounding it. We will also walk up to the ruined paper mills. There is also a gift shop that has a lovely range of handmade paper products for you to buy as a memento to your travels.

Stop At: Duomo di Sant’Andrea, Piazza Duomo, 84011, Amalfi Italy
We will visit the town of Amalfi and see its array of multi-colored houses and shops. Don’t worry, you will have some free time to do stuff of your own here: take pictures, shop for souvenirs, have something to eat. We will also take you to Piazza del Duomo, one of the main places to visit here. If this isn’t your thing, you can head over to the promenade, browse through shops and take a walk along the beach.

Stop At: Duomo di Ravello, Piazza Vescovado SNC, 84010, Ravello Italy
The Duomo, facing Piazza Vescovado, is the spiritual and social center of Ravello. It combines the Baroque and Romanesque styles of architecture. There are 5 main attractions here: the bronze door, the pulpit, Ambo of the Epistles, Chapel of St. Pantaleone the Healer, and the museum. If you are interested to enter the museum, there is an entrance fee of 3 euros.

Stop At: Villa Cimbrone Gardens, Via Santa Chiara 26, 84010, Ravello Italy
We will take you to this beautiful garden, where you can take in the amazing view over the Amalfi coastline and take pictures on the infinity terrace.

Stop At: Villa Rufolo, Piazza Duomo, 84010, Ravello Italy
Villa Rufolo was built in the 13th century by the wealthy and powerful Rufolo family. It is one of the best examples of architecture and gardens on the Amalfi Coast, the views are spectacular, and the blooming flowers are very well kept.

Pass By: Naples, Naples, Province of Naples, Campania
We will make our way by bus to Napoli from Amalfi and have a relaxing night at the bed and breakfast, or you could choose to have a night out for some drinks with fellow group mates!

Day 4: Napoli – Rome

Stop At: Via San Gregorio Armeno, 83018, Naples Italy
We will take you on a walk along Via San Gregorio Armeno, where the tradition of representing the Holy Family as true art lives on in these streets. They have hundreds of artisan workshops here, various churches nearby, and amazing local food. This is the time to buy souvenirs!

Stop At: Centro Storico, Naples Italy
We will have an optional food tour for those of you who would like to have a guided culinary experience! This will include a food and sightseeing tour of downtown Naples, sampling some of the area’s best regional cuisine, such as ragù, sfogliatelle, spaghetti, and pizza. The tour also has vegetarian options.

Stop At: Pompeii Archaeological Park, Porta Marina (via Villa dei Misteri), 80045 Pompeii Italy
We will take you to the home of the world’s most famous volcanic disaster when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D., Pompeii is now a significant archaeological site that provides an amazing glimpse into the daily life of an average Roman town.
