Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Montepulciano, Montepulciano, Tuscany
Our english speaking driver – escort will pick you up at your location (hotel or apartment) and we will drive through the beautiful italian countryside until Montepulciano. First stop in Montepulciano (about 2 hrs). Arrived in the main square, we will visit the city and two Historic Cellars. The driver – escort will lead you inside of two underground cellars, between underground shafts with brick walls. Here you will find gigantic oak barrels, in which the famous “Vino Nobile di Montepulciano” DOCG and the “Rosso di Montepulciano” DOC “rest”. At the end of the visit, you will attend a typical tuscan lunch with home made pasta, Bruschettas, Pecorino cheese from Pienza & Tuscan cold cuts and 5 tastings of the best local wines, with an explanation of their basic characteristics.

Stop At: San Gimignano, San Gimignano, Tuscany
After the visit of Montepulciano, we will first cross the Val d’Orcia and then the Chianti Region, up to San Gimignano.
Second stop in San Gimignano (1 hrs free visit):
S. Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town not far from Siena. Known as the Town of Fine Towers, The town also is known for saffron, the Golden Ham, and its white wine, “Vernaccia di San Gimignano”, produced from the ancient variety of Vernaccia grape which is grown on the sandstone. In the main square don’t forget to taste the best ice cream in the world (Gelateria Dondoli).
After the visit of San Gimignano we will leave for Florence.
