The trek passes by the former royal stables in the Parco della Favorita, inside what was originally the Bourbon hunting reserve.

A guided walk takes you to discover the Monte Pellegrino reserve. The first stretch of uphill road of 1.5km is found in the Valle del Porco, a narrow valley bordered by limestone cliffs with dense vegetation. Once at the top it will be possible to admire the view over Palermo and the Gulf of Mondello.

Visit the interior of the sanctuary carved into the rock and admire the golden statue of the Saint.
