Highlights:
We will start our visit in the square of Santa Maria Novella, famous for a now forgotten tradition, the race with wagons. We will also admire the beautiful façade of the church, the work of the genius of Leon Battista Alberti.
Our visit continues in the religious center of the city, cathedral square, the famous cathedral surmounted by the majestic dome, by Filippo Brunelleschi.
We will then continue towards the square that is still the political center of Florence, Piazza della Signoria, where we will get to know Cosimo I de’ Medici better through the statues he wanted.
The last part of our itinerary will be dedicated to Ponte Vecchio and the river that flows under it, the Arno.
