Zafferana Etnea Trip Overview
Spend a day with us in one of the most fascinating places in the world: Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe and a Unesco heritage site. Our excursion starts from Zafferana to go up the slopes of the volcano. During the journey we will cross the typical Etna landscapes, rich in history and traditions.
Attention please. This tour is a Self Drive Tour or Car Tour. Everyone will move with their own means to avoid situations of gathering in shared means. Total number of kilometres travelled in auro Round trip/ Return from the starting point about 60. Small groups max 20 people as per regulations. The tour is confirmed with a minimum of two people. Possibility of private tours on request.
✔Meet at 9.00 am at the Blu Bar in Fleri. After the briefing everyone will go back to their own cars to drive to the first stage
✔First stop: walk along some ancient side craters.
✔Second stop: visit of the sites of the last great eruption in 2002/2003
✔Third stop: visit to a lava flow cave.
