What makes Verona City Highlights Private Guided Tour for Kids and Families a unique experience ?

This is the starting point of the tour. Meet your guide in front of this imposing building that dates back to the 17th century and overlooks Piazza Bra. We won’t enter the palace.

Piazza Bra is where the locals like to meet while strolling through the historical center. This vibrant square is overlooked by the majestic Arena, as well as Palazzo Barbieri, the Town Hall. Our expert local guide will tell you all about the importance of this location.

“Arena” (“sand”, in Latin) refers to the sand covering the area where the gladiator would fight. This amphitheater is one of the most iconic landmarks of Verona and it is still used for public events. We will not enter inside.

Via Mazzini is the long, narrow pedestrianized street that connects Piazza Bra with Piazza delle Erbe. This bustling street is lined with elegant shops and it is considered the heart of the historical center.

The House of Juliet is one of the most beloved attractions in Verona. Stop in the courtyard of the house and see the famous balcony and the statue of the beautiful young protagonist of Shakespeare’s masterpiece. We won’t enter the house.

Piazza delle Erbe has a long history since the Roman times, and it was a center of arts and commerce during the Scaligeri rule. It is surrounded by cafes and bistros, and it features a Roman statue representing the city as a beautiful woman.

This is where our tour ends. Piazza dei Signori is also called “Piazza Dante”, thanks to the statue of the father of the Italian language. This elegant square is framed by the Palace of the Scaligeri family, the Palace of the Comune and the arch leading to the Old Market Yard.
