You will be picked up by your driver at 4pm and transferred to Venice. Once there, you will get to the Venice lagoon on private taxi boat while admiring a marvelous sunset on your way to St. Mark’s Square.
Upon arrival, you are free to explore the impressive square at your leisure, savor tasty ‘aperitivi’ under the ‘Vecchie Procuratie’ arches, or stand in front the majestic facade of St. Mark’s Basilica. Admire the precious marble, splendid mosaics and famous bronze statues of the Four Horses on the front of the church. These statues were placed on the facade after the sack of Constantinople in 1204.
You may want to savor a romantic dinner in a renowned Venice restaurant where only the best local dishes are served (own expense). In the evening, rejoin your driver for the return trip to your hotel in Verona.
