Jump on board, relax and enjoy the journey: you will be guided and pampered by Francesco, a native Venetian, expert captain and certified tour guide. You will be part of a small group (6 persons max) aboard an old fishing traditional wooden boat turned into a luxury floating lounge.

We will start from Dorsoduro district, then we’ll navigate the northern side of the lagoon passing by the nice-looking island of San Michele, today the Venice cemetery, reaching Murano island, where glass is blown since the 11th century; then we’ll get to Burano island, famous for its bright colored houses and for the lace production. Then we’ll reach Torcello, the first settlement in Venice lagoon: here we’ll have a small walk till the Basilica Church with its Bizantine Architecture.
In conclusion we will head back to Venice enjoying a panoramic view of St. Marc’s Square and Salute Church.

Zattere is located in the south, in fact is the sunniest area of Venice – Residential but also attended by students of the Venice University. After Rialto, Zattere is the oldest side of Venice.

Northern area of Venice. From this part you can admire the beautiful view of San Michele, Murano, Vignole islands and, during the clear days you can see the Dolomites in the distance.

Beautiful looking island protected by an high wall all around – Venetian cemetery since 1807.
San Michele is one of the most intriguing islands of the Venetian lagoon. You can see the island from the northern shore in Venice, but the secrets of its cemetery are well-hidden behind a large wall. It is certainly worth a walk inside, but in the tour we’ll just pass by.
Pass By: Murano, Murano, Veneto
Murano was initially settled by the Romans and from the sixth century. At first, the island prospered as a fishing port and through its production of salt but in 1291, all the glassmakers in Venice were required to move to Murano and the island is today known as a leader in the art of glass blowing.

Known for its coloured homes and the lace production.
Burano rose its importance only in the 16th century, when women on the island began making lace with needles, being introduced to such a trade via Venetian-ruled Cyprus and then exported all across Europe.
Stop At: Torcello, Torcello, Veneto
One of the first settlement in the Venice Lagoon. After the downfall of the Western Roman Empire, Torcello was one of the first lagoon islands to be successively populated by those who where running away and avoiding from the recurring barbarian invasions. In pre-Medieval times, Torcello was a much more powerful trading center than Venice.
