Stop At: Vatican Museums, Viale Vaticano, 00120 Vatican City Italy
You will meet your me in front of the entrance of the Museums, I will have a sign to let you find me easily. If you want, I can secure for you the tichets to enter the Museums and you will refund me on the spot, so we will skip the lines to enter and we will arrive directly to the security controlls. We will see the main Collections and masterpieces of the Museums along the way to the Sisine Chapel. Be ready to admire some of the most famous ancient statues from Roman and Greek times as the Laocoon and the Apollo of the Wonderful View. Cross the Gallery of the Tapesties and of the Geographical Maps to arrive just in front of the Sistine Chapel. I have a PhD in History of Art, but mainly I am in love with the beauty of these Museums and I will tell you a lot of stories about the Popes and their Collections.

This is the most holy spot of the Catholic world. We have to keep the silence inside, so before to enter I will tell you the story of the frescos, of the elections of the Popes that takes place here, and also some funny details, as the one of the underware added to cover the privats of Michelangelo’s Final Judgement.

We will enter the biggest Catholic Church in the world, finished by Gian Lorenzo Bernini after more than 120 years and twenty Popes. We will admire together the Michelangelo’s Pietà and the beautiful tombs of several Popes included St. John Paul II tomb.
Do not miss the opportunity to climb the Dome to enjoy one of the most impressive view over Rome.
