The Stanze, as they are commonly called, were originally intended as a suite of apartments for Pope Julius II.
Then on to the Sistine Chapel which is still used today for the election of new Popes. Children will be amazed by Michelangelo’s ceiling frescoes depicting The Last Judgment.
