What to Expect When Visiting Andria, Puglia, Italy
The tour includes a visit to the oil mill, during which the stages of the production process of our quality oils will be illustrated: from olive to oil. We will continue with the tasting of the whole range of our ESSENCE and AROMATIC oils, offered in combination with typical products of our territory.
Visitors will be shown the stages of the production process, with the possibility of witnessing the milling operations and obtaining the oil in real time, up to the bottling of our products. We will proceed with a short lesson on the world of EVO and an introduction to tasting oil with sensory analysis. During the tasting phase, a short lesson on the approach to oil will be proposed, during which the characteristics of the 8 oils of the Muraglia oil mill tasted will be explained. Their scents and flavors will be perceived, to identify the merits of a quality EVO oil. In order to mature a taste-olfactory memory of the scents of our oils, a professional tasting will be set up, in which ampoules with fresh ingredients will be displayed, the scents of which will be recognizable in our oils.
This will be followed by the food-oil pairing phase, in which you will learn the importance of knowing how to combine not only the wines, but also the right oils with different dishes.
Afterwards, the tour will continue in the city of Terlizzi at the studio where our iconic ceramics are produced. A tour where craftsmanship is everything.
