Napoli Trip Overview

A unique event to combine art, architecture, curiosities with pizza: first the guidedtour to discover the heart of Naples, Spaccanapoli, and then a dinner based on the most famous dish in the world: pizza.
Departure from Piazza del Gesù, where we will admire the highest spire of the city, which hides a singular curiosity. Then, continue with the visit inside the church of Gesù Nuovo, known as the church of the doctor Giuseppe Moscati.
We continue with the visit inside the church of S. Chiara in majestic Gothic style, followed by a walk up to San Domenico Maggiore, a square full of curiosities, up to Piazzetta Nilo and largo Corpo di Napoli, where we find the statue of the god Nile. The tour continues on the most famous street in the world known as the street of the shepherds (Via San Gregorio Armeno).
At the end we move on to the tasty side with a nice dinner of pizza and a drink of your choice comfortably seated in a characteristic pizzeria in the heart of Naples.

On the facade of the church of the Nuovo, a UNESCO plaque is affixed with the Jesus center engraved on it for which the historian of Naples has become humanity. The square, the fulcrum of some of the most important monuments of Naples, revolves around the monumental obelisk of the Immaculate Conception, a majestic spire of white and Bardiglio marble placed in the center of the esplanade.

The church of Gesù Nuovo, or of the Trinity Major, is a basilica church in Naples, located in piazza del Gesù Nuovo in front of the obelisk of the Immaculate Conception and the basilica of Santa Chiara. It is one of the most important and largest churches in the city, among the highest concentrations of Baroque painting and sculpture, on which some of the most influential artists of the Neapolitan school worked. Inside is the body of St. Giuseppe Moscati, canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1987.

Today via San Gregorio Armeno is known all over the world as the exhibition center of the craft shops located here that now all year round make figurines for nativity scenes, both canonical and original (usually every year the most eccentric artisans make figurines with the features of characters of stringent topicality that perhaps stood out positively or negatively during the year).
