Santa Margherita Ligure is an elegant and picturesque coastal resort. You will start breathing the Dolce Vita atmosphere walking by the lively fishing port, the seaside walk flanked by painted palaces until reaching the lush garden of Villa Durazzo where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama.

From Santa Margherita you will reach Portofino with a panoramic trip by ferry. Navigating along the jagged coast dotted with luxury villas will give you an exclusive perspective.
Arriving in Portofino from the sea is the best way to fully enjoy the beauty of this tiny fishermen village now become a VIP retreat.
You will disembark in Portofino and, always accompanied by your expert private guide, take a walk in the village. From the famous “Piazzetta” (small square) overlooking the sea, you will reach the church of San Giorgio, perched on the rocks. This is one of the best places to take memorable pictures. From Portofino take again the ferry and sail along the beautiful wil coast of the Portofino Marine Reserve untill San Fruttuoso*.
San Fruttuoso is a unique place that you can’t miss when visiting the Portofino area.
A secluded cove that can be reached only by boat or on foot.
Just a few fishermen’s houses and a magnificent medieval abbey built right on the pebble beach.
The water has a special blue here and you can have a dip or take a seat in one of our preferred restaurants perched on the rocks overlooking the sea to taste some local specialties. Also grabbing a cone of fried fish to eat on the beach with a glass of Vermentino wine is could be a good idea, isn’t it?
Take your time to relax, visit the Abbey (entrance tickets are not included) and then go back to the departure point by boat.
* in case of bad sea conditions, ferries may not run and it won’t be possible to reach San Fruttuoso. Alternatively, you will visit the picturesque village of Camogli.
