Frascati Trip Overview
Join this half-day wine tour in Frascati (located 25 minutes by train from Rome Termini station) to explore the local town and learn about the traditional wine making techniques, at one of the oldest and most beautiful family-run wineries in Italy.
Your guide will meet you at 10:20 a.m at the Frascati train station (Train tickets will be purchased and sent to you prior to the tour). From there you will be taken by minibus to Frascati, where you will explore the town and meet the local shop owners.
From the town, head over to the vineyard. Tastings include Frascati Superiore D.O.C.G, Red Vagnolo I.G.T and Sweet Cannellino D.O.C.G, freshly baked goods, extra virgin olive oil and other other Italian food specialties, whilst enjoying views of Rome.
From the vineyard, you will be taken to a locally loved restaurant for handmade pasta with a well-paired wine.
Following lunch, you may choose to return to Rome by train at every :36 past the hour, until the last one departs at 9:36 pm.
