Stop At: Montepulciano, Montepulciano, Tuscany
Our driver escort will pick you up at your location (hotel, B&B or private apartment) and take you on a drive through the sweet hills of Tuscany until Montepulciano. Montepulciano is a medieval and Renaissance hill town.
Montepulciano is also a major producer of food and drink. Renowned for its pork, cheese, “pici” pasta, lentils, and honey, it is known worldwide for its wine (Nobile and Red of Montepulciano). Our driver escort will guide you through the incredible underground cellars, where a qualiquified winemaker will show you gigantic oak barrels, in which the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG and the Rosso di Montepulciano DOC “rest”. At the end of the visit, you will attend a tipical tuscan lunch and a tasting of the best wines with an explanation of their basic characteristics.

After Montepuciano the second scheduled stop will be in Cortona. Cortona is the main cultural and artistic center of the Val di Chiana after Arezzo. Cortona founded by the Etruscans (Original name “Curtun”) still retains many of its original remains from the Etruscan period, also Cortona encloses diferents story from characters that boasts great Renaissance artists, such as Luca Signorelli and Beato Angelico, as well as Pietro di Cortona from the Baroque period. Cortona and its countryside inspired also the famous film “Under the tuscan sun”.
