During the guided tour you will explore Troy, built in the 11th century. on the ruins of the Roman city Aece, born in turn on an ancient settlement dauno. It was a Municipium during the Roman Empire and became an important crossroads of the Appian-Trajan road axis. The itinerary includes a walk in the ancient village from which to admire the hills, a visit to the splendid Romanesque Cathedral among the most beautiful in Puglia. It is considered one of the greatest Apulian artistic masterpieces for its harmony of proportions and artistic examples such as the rose window and the bronze portal.
