Meet your guide at the Public Garden, where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of the Itria Valley on a hill 400 metres high.
We will start the tour from the ancient entrance gate of the historical centre, where Torre Grande and Torre Amati are located, which were part of the system of fortification.
Visit of the Mother Church, built in the Middle Ages and still preserves the Romanesque style interior and some precious Renaissance sculptures.
Among the narrow alleys of this village, we will meet remains of some ancient towers incorporated in the whitewashed houses and explore the enchanting 4 historical districts.
We will walk to Piazza dell’Orologio, the heart of the old town centre as well as meeting point for tourists and locals, and then we will reach Palazzo del Governatore and Porta Piccenne.
Walking along Corso Umberto, the modern part beyond the city walls, we will end the tour at Torre Capece, another existing defensive tower, situated very close to the Public Garden.
