Our tour includes a visit to the old quarter of the historic center of Matera, the Sasso Caveoso, with an authorized guide to discover breathtaking places!
Also included in the itinerary are a stop at the Barbarian-Medieval cemetery, an archaeological area, an entrance to a typically furnished cave house, a symbol of peasant life and in an artisan shop, where you can admire the details and unique works of local craftsmanship.
The route continues with a visit to the two most important rock churches of the Sasso Caveoso, Madonna de Idris and San Giovanni in Monterrone. Finally, we will move together through the alleys of the center in the Sasso Barisano and we will conclude the visit by admiring the outside of the Duomo and the imposing view of Piazza Duomo.
