Stop At: Vesuvius National Park, Via Palazzo del Principe, 80044 Ottaviano Italy
While climbing Mt. Vesuvius you will see the Bay of Naples. About halfway up the climb, you can see the lava flow from 1944 eruption and the grand city of Naples. Here you will have time to take great topographic photos as well see some amazing views from various angles and height. Later, explore the base of the volcano where there is a wine yard, where a tour will be provided with explanation of how wine is made as well as the various grapes. Here you will have the opportunity to taste various wines(Aglianico and Fiano) and have lunch.
