Stop At: Lake Iseo, Lake Iseo, Lombardy
8:00 AM meeting of participants at the meet point and departure to Lake Iseo. This fantastic 1 day trip from Milan starts! Arrive in Iseo and begin a tour of the pretty town. Iseo is located along the alpine lakeshore, in the heart of Franciacorta wine country. The town’s heart is Piazza Garibaldi, an attractive irregularly-shaped square lined with arcades. The town is very appealing with pretty buildings painted in pastel colors The lungolago promenade is beautiful, here there is a port for ferries or boat hires to get around the lake. Iseo looks out at the island of Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe and called the pearl of Lake Iseo, along with Isola di San Paolo, a private island with the palace on it that is now owned by the Beretta family.
Take the boat for a fascinating tour on the lake.
