Itinerary

Pass By: Fassa Valley, Fassa Valley, Province of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige
Departure from Trento.
We will cross the Fiemme Valley and we will reach the Fassa Valley : we will pass through the towns of Vigo di Fassa and Canazei to arrive under the imposing peaks of the Sella Group.
Stop At: Sass Pordoi, Strada statale 48 delle Dolomiti, San Giovanni di Fassa Italy
From here begins a long series of 27 hairpins bends (switchbacks) that will lead us to the famous Pordoi Pass at an altitude of 2.239 meters above sea level. One hour of staying if you decide to arrive with the cable car to Sass Pordoi (altitude of 2950 meters: the cable car is open from late May until mid-October and from Christmas to Easter. The price of the cable car ticket is not included in the price of the excursion.

Going down the other side of Pordoi Pass we will enter the region Veneto and we will reach the town of Arabba, a very important ski center in winter;
Next stop at Falzarego Pass – 2.105 meters above sea level.

We reach then Cortina d’Ampezzo, the “Pearl of the Dolomites”, Italy’s premier mountain resort and home of the Winter Olympic Games of 1956. Cortina together with Milan will once again host the Winter Olympic Games in 2026.

Stop At: Lago di Misurina, Frazione di Auronzo di Cadore., Auronzo di Cadore Italy
Then we will go forward in the direction of the Tre Croci Pass to reach the Misurina Lake, near The Three Peaks of Lavaredo (Tre Cime di Lavaredo) These are the best known mountains in the Alps as well as the most photographed and the most represented on postcards and calendars.

Just 20 minutes from Misurina we will have the opportunity for a brief stop at another important lake in the Eastern Dolomites, Lake Dobbiaco.

Stop At: Lago di Braies, 39030 Braies Italy
From Dobbiaco in about 20 minutes we reach the extreme North-East Italy a few kilometers from the border with Austria for the great final of the day with a visit to the famous Braies Lake.
In about 2,5 hours, we’ll be back in Trento.
