Stop At: Pompeii Archaeological Park, Porta Marina (via Villa dei Misteri), 80045 Pompeii Italy
We will reach the astonishing city of Pompeii in the morning: the Roman harbor town frozen in time by the volcanic eruption of 79 A.D. Be ready for a journey back in time, as the visit is a truly emotional one like no other. No other site in fact is so well preserved and can give you such a still-life picture of Roman life as if you were back 2000 years ago! The volcanic ash preserved Pompeii’s streets, lined by palaces full of mosaics and frescoes, and you will be able to walk it through just as if it were there before the eruption! As you visit the Roman Forum, the brothel, the houses and the to the world-famous plaster casts of those killed in the eruption, you will be immersed in a surreal atmosphere as you hear the stories, anecdotes and secrets of this unique world-heritage site.

Back onboard for a short, scenic ride on the Amalfi coast all the way to Positano. Our luxury minibus is a perfect fit to ride along the panoramic road made of twists and turns that suddenly open to stunning view of the Mediterranean sea. Along the road, our expert tour leader will introduce you to the Neapolitan culture and the history of this corner of Paradise which is the Amalfi coast, another world heritage site.

Positano is its real pearl, set on the cliffs sinking down to the sea, this little colorful town was a fishermen spot before being discovered and admired by poets like Shelly and Goethe before, and Hollywood starts later in the years. Today this is a fascinating town full of upscale boutiques as well as little artisanal shop, famous for leather shoes, linen dresses, limoncello and a beautiful see. We have set a gourmet lunch made of typical dishes like “caprese” salad, pasta, fresh fish and desert, along with refreshing cool white wine and of course, limoncello.
Time to go back onboard to the Capital city, but not before some more pampers by our tour leaders and a little surprise, for a day which will be cherished in your memories forever.
