What to Expect When Visiting Andria, Puglia, Italy
The tour includes a visit to the oil mill, during which the stages of the production process of our quality oils will be illustrated: from olive to oil. We will introduce you to the tasting of the whole range of our ESSENZA and AROMATIC oils, proposed in combination with typical products of our territory.
Visitors will be explained the stages of the production process, with the possibility to witness the milling operations and the obtaining of the oil in real time, until the bottling of our products (October-January). We will proceed with a short lesson on the world of EVO and an introduction to oil tasting with sensory analysis. In the tasting phase will be proposed a short lesson of approach to the oil, during which will be explained the characteristics of the 8 oils of the Muraglia Oil Mill tasted. You will be taught to perceive their scents and flavors, to identify the merits of a quality EVO oil. In order to create a taste-olfactory memory of the scents of our oils, a professional tasting will be set up, in which glass jars with fresh ingredients will be displayed, whose scents will be recognizable in our oils. This will be followed by the oil food pairing stage, in which you will learn the importance of knowing how to match not only wines, but also the right oils to different dishes.
