A small organic village with less than 300 inhabitants, bristling on a hill, it seems planted on a meteorite. In Cairano time seems to stand still.
An archaic journey that takes shape among rooted verses and stories of other times, up to the picturesque via delle Grotte, unique in Campania, to discover millenary cellars that hide authentic necropolis. Passing through the theater in the center of town to the cliff, the highest point of Cairano. Where you can enjoy a wide view over the Ofanto valley and the Apennine chain of Monti Picentini, on windy days, plays the masterful pipe organ, unique in the world, which leaves room for meditation.
Going down, a stop at Di Biasi gardens and the meeting with the history of Cairano, the bartender Zi Ngiulino.
The experience continues with a Cooking Class with the inhabitants of the village, where they prepare traditional local dishes. At the end of the workshop, you will taste the dishes prepared, in a familiar atmosphere.
