Unlike neighboring Pompeii, the citizens of Herculaneum were suffocated to death by poisonous fumes rather than buried under heavy ash. You will visit the winery Cantina del Vesuvio where you will join an outstanding view at the feet of Mount Vesuvius and taste the food specialties of the Campania region accompanied with the famous wine called Lacryma Christy (tears of Christ).
