Stop At: Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast, Province of Salerno, Campania

The Amalfi Coast is known for being the land of orange blossoms and lemons, the saltiness of the wonderful beaches and the wildest Mediterranean scrub, all arranged vertically, together with the houses overlooking the sea and hidden in the maze of picturesque alleys.

Stop At: Li Galli, Amalfi Italy

Li Galli Island is actually a very small archipelago made up of three tiny islands that overlook the southern part of the Sorrentine Peninsula almost in front of Positano.Gallo Lungo is the name of the main island, the only one that has been inhabited since time more remote, in fact, Roman remains have been found. It is about 400 meters long and no more than 200 meters wide and together with the other two islets, when viewed from above, it is very reminiscent of the silhouette of a dolphin.A lot of legends have been born around the Li Galli island, all linked to the myth of the sirens.
According to Greek mythology, the sirens, half women and half birds (and not half fish as has been handed down with popular culture) evoked dangers and obstacles, and indeed this island, with the rush of the waters, has seen numerous times boats crashing on its rocks.
