The Bagni della Regina Giovanna are located on the promontory of Punta Capo in Sorrento, to be precise they are located on the coast of the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella. It is a magnificent natural swimming pool a few steps from the center of Sorrento, a small natural oasis. The Baths are located near the villa of Pollio Felice, a Roman patrician of the 1st century BC. The Villa was immense, consisting of about 30,000 square meters, but unfortunately today it is possible to admire only the ruins. The poet Orazio and the poet Stazio also narrated the magnificence of the villa.
The name of the Baths derives from Queen Giovanna II of Anjou-Durazzo. In fact, it is said that in the period from 1371 to 1435 the queen loved to spend the summer in Sorrento and that she spent her time with her lovers right in the waters of the Capo di Sorrento.

A freezing semi-underwater shower. It is the “Cascatella” as it is called here, a drop of water that gives the bay its name. It seems that this water was conveyed there many centuries ago by means of an aqueduct with the aim of supplying the boats that went to Punta della Campanella and Capri.

Cala di Mitigliano is an inlet between Punta Baccoli and, further west, Fossa Papa. The tiny pebble beach is one of the most pleasant of those enclosed in the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area. To the east of the latter there is a tower-shaped building with a circular base: perhaps used in the past, when the quarry was in operation.
The main attraction of the cove remains, however, the Mitigliano cave, which overlooks the island of Capri. The ravine, formed thanks to a source of fresh water, is a strong attraction for those who wish to immerse themselves in crystal clear waters.

Not far from the Marina Grande beach in Capri there is a small coastline embraced by the cliff and kissed by the sun which over time has earned the name of Bagni di Tiberio. The Punta Carena lighthouse is the second largest in Italy for lighting power (after Genoa), as well as being one of the oldest: the first time it was lit in 1867. The lighthouse is always a quiet place, far from the routes of mass tourism, the best time to appreciate its magic is at sunset, in fact this is one of the few points on the coast where you can admire the sun setting into the sea.

The Green Grotto, formerly known as the Grotta dei Turchi, is a cavity located on the southern side of the Island of Capri, in Campania, known above all for the color of the water inside which, due to particular plays of light, takes on the green colour.
We will enter with the boat inside this and the Grotta dei Santi, not far away, to admire these fantastic examples of the action of the elements up close.

beyond this point, the cove of the same name that follows it, will host us for a break at anchor where we will relax to the rhythm of music, we will have a rich aperitif with dry and fresh appetizers, we will toast with prosecco and limoncello and do some diving. The bravest will be able to reach the shore, it is a few meters away, to enjoy the beauty of this stretch of beach made of pebbles, rocks and ancient buildings up close.

famous all over the world, we will closely observe what are actually the 4 stacks of Capri. Saetta, the only one attached to the island, Monacone, Stella and Scopolo. Here we will stop for the time necessary to take some selfies, photos and ritual videos with this famous wallpaper.

Stop At: White Grotta, Capri, Island of Capri Italy
La Grotta Bianca, a sea cave that owes its name to the white incrustations of limestone on its sides and from groups of white stalactites that hang from the roof and fringe the entrance. The peculiarity of this cave is the fact that it is dominated in turn by another cave, or the “Marvelous Grotto”. A show within a show that will leave everyone speechless.

We will observe this precipice overlooking the sea, about 297 meters high, near villa Jovis, and will represent the last stop of our tour.
According to a legend, the Roman emperor Tiberius had condemned men thrown into the cliff who, after falling into the sea, were beaten with oars and sticks by a team of sailors, until death.

We will enter the port to disembark and you will have 3-4 hours free to take a look at the most famous and chic places in Capri. The square, the cable car, Mount Solaro, Villa Jovis, you will be spoiled for choice.
Once back on board then, we will make a toast to the past day, we will taste the limoncello made in an artisanal way, some fresh fruit or a dessert before heading to the port of departure.
