The Consistory Hall is where weddings take place today, a wonderful place whose ceiling is entirely frescoed by the Sienese artist Domenico Beccafumi. Afterwards, the tour continues by visiting the famous frescoes by Simone Martini of the 14th century, the Maestà. At the end you will admire “The Allegory and the Effects of the Good and Bad Government” by Ambrogio Lorenzetti.
