Why choose this Sicily tour ?

A book itself could contain the rich history of Manostalla estate, from Jesuits , farm workers and the aristocracy, they have all been key figures in weaving the traditions and history of where your wine tasting experience will take place. The ancient Baglio (historic Sicilian courtyard featuring a watering bath for animals and mulberry trees for shade) dates back to the early 1800s, once owned by the Jesuit Fathers who used it as a place of prayer within the fief of Manostalla of the Chiarelli Rossotti Barons of Pietralonga. The farm land extends to almost 250 hectares, with organic vineyards, olive groves and woodlands towards the sea. Today the property in the late 1800s passed back to the Rossotti family and from this estate we produce 2 important wines: Terre de’ Gesuiti grillo and Terre de’ Gesuiti nero d’avola.
