Why choose this Sardinia tour ?

Transhumance was the seasonal transfer of flocks or herds of livestock from hilly and mountainous areas to plains, towards a climate tempered by the sea. A transfer that took place along the sheep tracks for descending the mountains, that is, along stony or dirt paths originating spontaneously from the trampling of animals or people and which literally still innervate our territory, in a dense network of fantastic paths that the vegetation, advancing , risks disappearing. This ancient practice will take place in Ogliastra and Barbagia, in October 2023 (every Saturday from the 14th to the 28th). You can take the opportunity to take part in a unique experience and participate in the professions related to sheep farming, following the path of the flock from the Arzana station towards the plain. Once we arrive at the Educational Farm we will conclude with a convivial lunch and Sardinian music and dance.
