Itinerary
Our experience includes simple hiking suitable for all walkers in good physical
condition. We will start our journey on the discovery of the Gulf of Tigullio with the seaside
villages of Santa Margherita, Paraggi and Portofino. We’ll walk through tiny alleys and colorful
squares in Santa Margherita old town and you will have the chance to admire the vivid trompel’oeil decorations of the houses surrounding the baroque Church of Our Lady of the Rose and the majestic gardens with a view of Villa Durazzo.
From here we’ll start our hike on the real path which leads directly to the center of the famous seaside village of Portofino, crossing all the promontory. It is a very pleasant excursion: easy, panoramic and surrounded by nature. On the go, we’ll stop for a “snack” based on local focaccias from a typical bakery. After a visit to the small historic center of Portofino and its most interesting points, we’ll then hike on through splendid villas to the very end of the promontory with its white lighthouse: from here you will have a panoramic view of all the bay.
