It is possible to find some traces of the municipium in inscriptions and remains of an ancient Roman cistern. Ruvo preserves in the ancient center a splendid Romanesque Cathedral of great artistic refinement, which is expressed in the original entrance portal. Finally, the Archaeological Museum Jatta deserves a visit, which houses a collection of artifacts and ceramics from the Peuceta and Greek eras, prior to the Roman presence.
