What makes Welcome to the Eternal City: Rome Orientation Walking Tour a unique experience ?

Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps are a set of steps dating from 1723, climbing a steep slope between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinita dei Monti at the top dominated by Trinita dei Monti Church. The steps are at the eastern end of the old city centre.

Spanish Square
Spanish Square at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, is one of the most famous squares in Rome, Italy. It owes its name to the Palazzo di Spagna, the seat of the Embassy of Spain to the Holy See. There is also the famed Column of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Fountain of the Barcaccia
The Fontana della Barcaccia is a Baroque-style fountain found at the foot of the Spanish Steps in Rome’s Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Square). The sculptural fountain is made into the shape of a half-sunken ship with water overflowing its sides into a small basin.

Trevi Fountain
The Trevi Fountain is the most famous and the largest fountain in Rome. It has a width of 20 meters and a height 30 meters. It marks the end point of the three road junction that leads to Acqua Vergine (previously known as Aqua Virgo), one of the aqueducts which once served as the water source of the Ancient Rome.

Temple of Hadrian
he rectangular-shaped temple was designed in peripteral style and lined with fifteen columns on the longer sides while eight columns lined the shorter sides. The columns had reliefs of personifications of the provinces of the empire, some of which are housed in the Capitoline Museums.

Pantheon
The Pantheon is a Roman temple which was presumably dedicated to all the gods, as its Latin name Pantheum, comes from the ancient Greek (Πάνθειον) Pantheion, which means “[the temple] of all the gods”. (if you want to see it from the inside of the Pantheon I can customize a tour for you)

Navona Square
The last stop will be at Rome most beautiful square, Piazza Navona, and we’ll finish with a gossip about the Fountain of the Four Rivers.
Navona Square is one of the most spectacular and characteristic squares of Baroque Rome, built on the remains of the Stadium of Domitian. The shape of the current square reproduces precisely the perimeter of the ancient stadium that the emperor built in 86 AD for athletics competitions and horse racing.

Fountain of Rivers
The Fountain of the Four Rivers is a fountain in the Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy. It was designed in 1651 by Gian Lorenzo Bernini for Pope Innocent X whose family palace, the Palazzo Pamphili, faced onto the piazza as did the church of Sant’Agnese in Agone of which Innocent was the sponsor.
