We offer our clients only private tours. It will be easy for you to meet your driver who will be at the exit of your ship with a sign with your name. You can have lunch at a local restaurant and add the wine tasting in the ancient village of Ceri. If you wish you can skip the visit of the necropolis of Tarquinia and visit the Lake of Bracciano and the Medieval castle.

The Necropolis of the Monterozzi extends over a hill just east of Tarquinia and consists of 6,000 sepulchers, some of which date back to the 7th century BC. The great artistic and archaeological value of the necropolis is due to the magnificent group of frescoes present in more than 200 tombs, in which funeral banquets, dancers, jugglers and landscapes are depicted using pictorial techniques of great visual impact, and a style that gives an animated and harmonious movement.

Lazio hides some small pearls, from the hidden villages, a few kilometers from the centers affected by the great tourist flows. The village of Ceri is one of these. Located north of Rome, in the Municipality of Cerveteri, Ceri develops within the crenellated walls of its Rocca. Built using the tuff cliffs of which the surrounding territory is constituted, the village has been affected by various vicissitudes. Inhabited by the Etruscan and Roman civilizations, it experienced a period of abandonment during the Early Middle Ages.

Built by the Orsini family by the end of the 15th century, the Castle looks outside like an impregnable fortress refined by the hanging gardens from where you can enjoy unique views, where the intense smells from the lake melt with the surrounding nature, giving as a result a picture of a rare beauty.

Inside, the large reception halls preserve lively decorations by painter Antoniazzo Romano, precious frescoes by the Zuccari brothers, family portrays that tell the story of the noble Orsini family – rulers and lords of Bracciano – and the story of their guests, popes, kings and intellectuals of that times, who where invited there to share the splendour of the castle, from pope Sixtus IV della Rovere to Christina, Queen of Sweeden.
