You will meet the driver below your cruiseship. He will hold a sign with your name. Then you start travelling to Rome. Once in Rome, you go meet your private guide who will lead the historical walking tour. Be prepared to feel like a real gladiator for a bit! The Colosseum is the main symbol of Rome. It is an imposing construction that, with almost 2,000 years of history, will bring you back to the Roman Empire. Each year 6 million tourists visit it. On 7 July 2007 the Colosseum became one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

The guide will take you through this impressive sprawl of ruins. The Roman Forum was ancient Rome’s showpiece centre, a grandiose district of temples, basilicas and vibrant public spaces. The site, which was originally an Etruscan burial ground, was first developed in the 7th century BC, growing over time to become the social, political and commercial hub of the Roman empire. For sure, a visit to the Roman Forum offers a unique insight into the lives, politics and beliefs of the Ancient Romans.

Later, you can start your city tour in the air – conditioned minivan Mercedes, among the wonders of Rome.
