Santa Maria di Loreto is a 16th-century church in Rome, located just across the street from the Trajan’s Column, near the giant Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II. It is considered the best work of Antonio da Sangallo. The church is built in brick and travertine and is remarkable for the great beauty of the proportions and the beautiful effect produced with great simplicity.
