Our Rome by Night and…Romance tour is a driver guided city tour to cover the major highlights of Rome in an abbreviated format all while beautifully lit at night. The tour starts at 9:00pm with the pick up in the lobby of your hotel. The first stops are at the Trevi Fountain and the the Spanish steps. After some picture and a coin offered to Neptune we will stop in Piazza del Popolo one of the most important squares of the city and then the Mausoleum of Augustus. We will then cross the river Tevere and reach Castel Sant’Angelo and a walk into St Peter’s square to enjoy the silence and the peace of this place at night. Next stop the Gianicolo Hill for an amazing view of the Eternal City. It’s time for an espresso and then Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Back into the van and we will drive through the main square of Rome “Piazza Venezia” where Mussolini used to entertain his people from the balcony, after the piazza we will start to see at the end of the road the Colosseum illuminated. The Colosseum is a must at night and totally different from they noise and the crowds of the day.
