Travelling in a private group of no more than 6 people with an air-conditioned minivan. With an official Pompeii guide, you’ll explore the remains of the ancient city, which was frozen in time after an ancient volcanic eruption. Then head to the coast and stop at Positano in time for lunch. Finish with free time to explore and shop in nearby Amalfi, before your return to Rome. Note: In low season (Nov – Mar), most of the businesses in Positano town close. During this time we will visit Amalfi town instead, another beautiful town of the Amalfi Coast, where you will have time for lunch ,shopping and Limoncello Tasting .

Spend a day discovering Pompeii and Amalfi on a small group max 12 people from Rome. In an intimate group of just 6 people per minivan, you’ll travel south to the UNESCO-listed ruins of ancient Pompeii.
Enjoy a short stop for breakfast on the freeway, and then continue to the main archaeological site. On arrival, you’ll learn about the 79AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, which took the city by surprise.
Hear how the Pompeii lay buried, yet preserved, for centuries in volcanic lava and ash, as you explore with an official site guide. Sights include the Macellum food market, the thermal baths, dining areas, and the homes of the city’s wealthiest citizens.
