What to Expect When Visiting Rome, Lazio, Italy
The Minardi family will guide you into an authentic wine and food experience in the land of the “Golden Wine” of Rome! Enjoy this private wine tasting and pasta/pizza making class from Rome with a gourmet lunch/dinner prepared by our Chef.
On this 6-hour excursion you head out of Rome end escape the chaotic city to discover the beauty that the picturesque countryside of the Castelli Romani offers.
Enjoy the magnificent view of the wooden hills and beautiful landscapes comfortably seatted in your private luxury van.
Once you wear your apron, our Chef will teach you how to prepare 2 of the traditional local pasta varieties, including “Ravioli” stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach, and “Fettuccine“.
After the class, we will guide you through a generous wine tasting of some wines of the family production: the Frascati Superiore DOCG white wine, the Vagnolo IGP red wine, as well as the Frascati DOC White Wine, along with an Oil tasting of the Minardi Family’s own Extra Virgin Olive Oil. All of the wines will be paired with a gourmet lunch/dinner prepared by our Chef, including a rich appetizer with typical breads and pizzas, artisanal cold meats, fresh and aged cheeses with our Wine Jelly, and of course the two Pastas that you have prepared during the class.
At the end of the experience we will drive you back to Rome.
