Stop At: Duomo di Orvieto, Piazza del Duomo 26, 05018, Orvieto Italy
You will meet the driver at your accomodation in center Rome and start travelling towards Orvieto, which is far 1 hour 40 minutes from Rome. This stunning medieval city, rises above the surrounding countryside sitting on its perch of volcanic tufa. Far below lies vineyards and fields dotted with ancient villas and vineyards. Orvieto has been inhabited since Etruscan times a fact that is still evident today in the underground world of caves and tunnels that run under the city. Once in Orvieto, before exploring the ‘underground city’, the driver will drop you off just next the Duomoo, so you can meet the guide and start your 1 hour-visit of the Cathedral.

After the Duomo, you will take this unforgettable guided tour along a very easy route makes it possible to get to know Orvieto’s underground world, created by its ancient inhabitants over about 2500 years of uninterrupted digging.
