Meet your guide in Via del Colosseo nr 31, in front of Caffe Roma, above the second floor of the Colosseum metro stop(blue line).

You will enter the Colosseum through the back door, also called the Gladiator’s Gate. This entrance allows you to have a spectacular view of the monument’s interior, being on top of the Colosseum Underground.

The Forum and Palatine are also guided with priority access to both. • There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The waiting time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
• You are not allowed with knives, glass bottles or large backpacks inside of the Archeological area.
• The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time. If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per “No Show” rules you will not be entitled to a refund.

Please note that you cannot get to the Colosseum with large bags, backpacks, or suitcases. You may bring small bags, but there is no cloakroom service inside to accommodate the large items.
