Maria Maggiore, one of the four Papal Basilicas of Rome, the largest dedicated to the Virgin Mary, also known as S. Maria della Snow for the tradition that binds it to the miraculous event of 356 AD.

the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano takes its name from the rich Lateran family who owned the land on which Constantine had the first church in the world built, also known as Mater Ecclesiae. Originally dedicated to Christ the Savior, it later received the dedication to SS. John the Baptist and Evangelist. Seat of the Papacy until the Unification of Italy, it is its cathedral for Rome, with the Episcopal Chair of the Bishop, the Holy Father.

The Scala Santa is, according to tradition, composed of 28 steps that the mother of the Emperor Constantine, St. Helen, brought back to Rome from Jerusalem along with many other relics. An extreme place of worship, you have to go up exclusively with your knees, reciting prayers at each step, to then reach the Sancta Sanctorum Chapel, the private chapel of the Popes during their centuries-old stay at the Lateran.

The Lateran Baptistery is an early Christian place of worship, with a central plan, which over time inspired the construction of other baptisteries. Dating back to the 4th century, commissioned by Constantine, it seems to have been the place where his mother, S. Elena, was baptized. Restored several times over the centuries, it still bears many medieval mosaics.
