Despite being the smallest country in the world, the Vatican has one of the largest art collections in the world: the Vatican Museums. With over 2,000 rooms and some 75,000 works of art, the Vatican Museums are the best example of Italian history of art. Together we will discover the treasures that the Vatican hides such as the Gallery of Maps, Raphael’s Rooms or the Borgia Apartments.

After having visited the Vatican Museums we will reach the top of Renaissance painting: the Sistine Chapel, the jewel of the Vatican, where we will admire the beauty of the wonderful frescoes by Michelangelo.
