Roma Trip Overview
We’ll be at 95km away from the crowded and noisy capital, visiting two hidden gems of the area. From my favourite bar restaurant Sebastiano’s shelter at 1820m high, we’ll hike towards the top Vetta del Terminillo at 2216m. After, we’ll eat in my fav local restaurant. Afterwards we’ll drive to Labro, to meet one of the royal Viteleschi’s family, a descendant of the original family who will give us a tour of the castle (you can sleep at the castle, if previous notice)

Itinerary

Stop At: Rieti, Rieti, Province of Rieti, Lazio
After a one-hour SUV car ride, we’ll park by Marco’s Artisan Coffeeshop and Organic herbal Teas where we can get an amazing caffe/Tea before we hit the venture! Afterwards, we will head to trek the mountain
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Monte Terminillo, Monte Terminillo, Province of Rieti, Lazio
After the coffee place we will go up to the mountain to trek for about 2hrs. After 400mt climb or 60mins trek at 2261mters high, we’ll enter stunning views of the surrounding mountains, amazing view of Tyrrhenian Sea. This hike still manages to get better with every step. Afterwards, we will head to Labro Castle and walk through this beautifully restored medieval village. It’s gorgeous. You will get to meet of the castle by one of the descendants of the original family, is amazing. The church, the castle, the theatre, the turns, up down across, the lake well off to the side below.
