What to Expect When Visiting Roma, Lazio, Italy
We are delighted to be able to welcome visitors back to Rome with our marvelous experience created specifically to provide our guests with only the finest food and wine Rome can offer. This experience will allow you to take a well deserved rest from touring the city, and enjoy a generous variety of food and wine (please come hungry, our portions are generous and the wine is free flowing), in a beloved historical location! It is the perfect experience for those who wish to learn, eat, drink and enjoy themselves!
Take a break from city life right in the heart of Rome and allow us to accompany you on an incredible journey of Italian wine and food! The tasting takes place in a private room in one of Rome’s most beloved venus: an award winning restaurant, enoteca and gourmet-food shop (all in one!) that has been in operation since 1928.
The experience begins at the location at 11:30am. Everyone will be welcomed, introductions will be done, and a brief tour of the location will be given. Your expert guide will provide you with the history of the venue and you will be led to the private room where you will make a toast with your first wine of the afternoon.
– You will then try the finest wine’s of Lazio, accompanied by a selection of Italy’s best cured meats immediately followed by the best selection of Italy’s finest gourmet cheeses.
-Lunchtime! Our guests have the option to of choosing between Pasta Carbonara, Pasta all’amatriciana and Pasta Pomodoro (great for our vegan guests!)
-A surprise! It will vary from tasting to tasting, but it will always be among the best Italy can offer.
-A delicious homemade dessert accompanied by a fantastic dessert wine
