On this tour you will explore one of the most enigmatic and dark places of Rome – Capuchin Crypts (Bone Chapels). Your guide will meet you at the entrance to the convent and museum of the Capuchins. You will receive your skip-the-line tickets and after a brief introduction, you will begin the guided tour of the museum and the crypts. The Capuchin crypts are a series of small chapels, fully decorated with real, human bones. Over 3700 skeletons of Capuchin friars were used to decorate the crypts. It is a dark yet magnificent place of prayer and peace.
This tour is a great alternative to an audio guide, but with a human touch. The price is exactly the same as the price of the ticket plus audio tour. The tour is conducted by a professional guide.
