Rio Favara wine tasting: Red and white sicilian love stories

RG Trip Overview

Dating back to 1920, they have evolved into a modern winery using some of the latest winemaking techniques while respecting local traditions and the environment. They have adopted the principles of organic and biodynamic farming taking every possible step to work as naturally as possible both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

Embracing the wealth of a ‘terroir’ that has been producing wine, particularly red ones, for centuries, their main objective is to produce wines which are the expression of the windy warm climate and the calcareous soils characterizing the Southernmost corner of Sicily, across the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa.

The best comment we often hear about our wines is that they represent ‘The genuine taste of Sicily!’
