With its 13.269 hectares, the vineyard area of the Oltrepò represents 60% of the entire surface area of Lombardy, while per hectolitre of wine produced, is the third area in Italy. The genotypes of Pinot Noir were cultivated in Oltrepò since the ancient Romans.
