The brandnew Trammino bike path follows the historical pisan tramway track, runs across the countryside for about 13 km to get to the seaside town Marina di Pisa.
San Piero a Grado, a clear Pisan Romanesque style structure, was founded in the place where Saint Peter is said to have landed during his journey to Rome.
This seaside town is located about 13 km away from Pisa next to the mouth of the Arno river. Here you can find the pretty tourist harbour, the traditional fishing nets called “retoni”, beautiful Art Nouveau villas and a nice pebble beach where you can take a dip and eat a tasty ice cream.
