After having met your private driver at the Port of Palermo, you will start your visit of the most important city of all Sicily located between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Conca D’oro Mountains. Discover the Medieval area of Palermo where the main features are from Baroque and Arabian-Norman period. “Piazza Pretoria” with its beautiful Renaissance fountain – the heart of the city, called: “Quattro Canti” – the magnificent Cathedral – “San Cataldo” church, etc. Don’t forget to visit a local market where you can experience the colorful local life and taste some street food.

We then drive to outside Palermo to the village of Monreale, driving along a wonderful road overlooking the “Conca D’Oro” valley. You will see the magnificent Duomo of Monreale.

Coclude your day relaxing on the beautiful bay of Mondello. Today, Mondello boasts a gorgeous 1.5km-stretch of fine white sand, shallow electric blue waters, an architectural treasure trove of Liberty Style villas, a host of excellent seafood restaurants, numerous bars and a vibrant summer atmosphere. Separated from Palermo by the 700m-high bulk of Montepellegrino, Mondello was originally a fishing village centred around what is now the main piazza. In 1910, a Belgian company, purchased a significant portion of the seafront, promising to create a prestigious seaside resort. The “Mondello project” quickly became the talk to the town and soon Palermo’s aristocratic families began buying up lots and commissioning the city’s best architects to build them magnificent Liberty Style summer villas
